Former badminton aces step in to aid national setup

Eight former national badminton players, including Thomas Cup winners, Rashid Sidek, Foo Kok Keong and Cheh Soon Kit, have come together to create a development program to scout and train future champions. 

Players will be identified via state badminton associations and clubs, with those selected to compete in the Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Badminton Championship to be held in December.

Pep Guardiola will leave Man City if they don't buck up

Pep Guardiola is willing to step aside, if Manchester City's form starts to worsen. 

In an excerpt from his new book, the City boss says he will give everything to help the club, but will leave if he fails to turn their fortunes around.

It comes as the defending champions currently sit second in the league standings, eight points adrift of leaders Liverpool. 

Meanwhile, UK papers say City have already identified former Feyernoord coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst as Guardiola's successor.

Jose Mourinho rejects Lyon offer

Jose Mourinho has reportedly turned down an offer to become the next manager of French club Lyon. 

Rumour has it the former Manchester United boss is still waiting for an offer from the Premiership.
