Man City have powered to a 3-nil Premiership win over Wolves this morning.

Gabriel Jesus netted twice for the home side while Wolves also conceded an own goal, to secure the win for City.

The result sees City reduce Liverpool's lead at the summit of the standings to just 4 points, with Pep Guardiola's side also 5 points clear of third placed Tottenham.

Separately, Spurs' doctors are currently waiting for the swelling on Harry Kane's ankle to go down before making an accurate diagnosis of his recent injury.

The striker picked up the problem in yesterday's defeat to Man United, and may be set for a lengthy spell out on the sidelines.

And, in a separate development, Spurs midfielder Mousa Dembele is said to be close to joining Chinese club Guangzhou R&F for 11 million pounds.

Dembele's Spurs contract expires in the summer, with the player attracted by the higher pay and less physical nature of the Chinese league.
