The Olympic Council of Malaysia is working on stricter selection criteria for category B athletes for next year’s SEA Games in Manila.

This, following their poor performance at this year's Asian Games in Indonesia.

The new selection SOP is expected to be announced early next year.

Category B athletes are not fully sponsored by the OCM for sporting events, but will have their expenses reimbursed if they secure a medal.
