Harimau Malaya fall to UAE in World Cup qualifier

The Malaysian football team have been praised for their fighting spirit, in their 2-1 loss to the UAE in their World Cup qualifier in KL last night.
Head coach Tan Cheng Hoe gave his side credit for putting up a strong challenge, although he admitted they need to work harder to maintain their focus and intensity.
Harimau Malaya must now prepare for their next match against Vietnam in Hanoi on October 10th.

KBS will push to host 2030 Asian Games
The Youth and Sports Ministry is currently working on tabling a proposal to the Cabinet, regarding Malaysia's bid to host the 2030 Asian Games.
It will also bring up Selangor's proposal for the state to be hosts of the 2026 Commonwealth Games.

Datuk Lee Chong Wei urges Lee Zii Jia to take a break
National men's singles shuttler Lee Zii Jia has been urged to get some rest, to avoid burnout and stay focused on the game.
The advice came from none other than Malaysian badminton legend Datuk Lee Chong Wei, who warned that the 21-year-old could be mentally exhausted, having played in back-to-back tournaments since early this year.
Chong Wei says it's crucial that Zii Jia gets some time off to recuperate and review his performance.
