Harry Maguire joins Man Utd

Manchester United have officially signed centre-back Harry Maguire from Leicester. 

The 80 million-pound fee makes him the most expensive defender in the world, eclipsing the previous record of 75 million that Liverpool paid for Virgil Van Dijk.

Maguire is United's third signing of the summer after Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James.

Wayne Rooney next Derby boss?

Wayne Rooney has been linked with a sensational return to England. 

The former Everton and Manchester United forward has been approached about becoming a player-coach at Championship side Derby County.

Rooney, who still has two years to run on his contract with Major League Soccer's DC United, has been open about wanting to eventually move into management. 

Several UK reports claim his transfer to Derby could be announced as early as today.

Malaysian archers win four compound gold medals at Asia Cup

The national archery team is dominating the second leg of the Asia Cup in Taiwan. 

Our athletes managed to pick up four gold medals in the compound events yesterday, to lead the standings of the eight-nation tournament.

The Malaysian archers will also be in contention for a further four gold medals in the recurve events later today.
