The Polish teenager defeated Sofia Kenin in straight sets in the final to become her country’s first ever Grand Slam winner.

At just 19 years of age, Swiatek is also the youngest women’s champion at Roland Garros since 1992.

The world number 54 is also the lowest-ranked player to win the women’s French Open title in the modern era.

UK sources say the former Tottenham boss is seen as a potential target of Man United, who are believed to be considering the future of Ole Gunnar Solksjaer after a poor start to the season.

Pochettino is also said to be on the radar of Man City…who are looking for options, with current boss Pep Guardiola showing no indication so far of renewing his contract that expires in seven months.

Its Minister says this is part of precautions, amid the recent spike in Covid-19 cases in the country.

The only exception will be for national athletes and those under the National Sports Council’s full-time training program, who’ll be allowed to train under strict adherence to SOP’s.
