Juve title bid on hold

Jul 24, 2020

"We lost? Juve got to be kidding me", said Ronaldo. Probably....

Juventus will have to wait to claim their 9th consecutive Serie A title.

This is after they suffered a shock 2-1 loss to relegation-threatened Udinese this morning,

Boss Maurizio Sarri says the team paid the price for their 'win at all costs' mentality, which caused them to lose their organisation and shape.

Juve just need three more points from their remaining three matches to win the Scudetto.

The result also means that Udinese are now 7 points above the relegation zone.

Former Arsenal boss Unai Emery has been appointed as manager of Spanish club Villarreal, on the three-year deal.

He replaces Javi Calleja, who left Villareal despite earning them a spot in next season's Europa League.

Current Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta says he's happy for Emery, and expects him to be a huge success there.

The upcoming Spanish F1 GP may not be under threat after all!

Earlier reports hinted that the race's fate is uncertain, after Spain's Catalonia region reintroduced COVID-19 restrictions amid a spike in new cases there.

However, Motorsport.com says the race is still ON, as the circuit is located outside the area where the restrictions are in place.
