Juventus to trade Ronaldo for Mbappe?

Oct 16, 2020

Juventus are reportedly planning a world record 400 million euros offer for PSG striker Kylian Mbappe…which could also see Cristiano Ronaldo heading in the opposite direction.

Juve are hoping that the addition of Ronaldo in the deal will persuade PSG to sell to them, amid interest from a number of top European sides in Mbappe.

Ronaldo turns 36 next summer but is showing no signs of slowing down, having scored 68 times for Juve in 91 appearances.

Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo could be in trouble with the law in Italy.

The Juventus star has been accused of breaching the country’s Covid-19 SOP’s when he flew in on a private jet, despite being under quarantine after getting infected with the coronavirus.

This is the second time Ronaldo is being criticised for ignoring SOP’s.

He had also come under fire last week, when he left Juve for international duty despite the Italian club being ordered to self-isolate after two staff members tested positive for the coronavirus.

In a related development, Valentino Rossi is the latest sports star to get infected with Covid-19.

The MotoGP legend is now under quarantine, and will miss the next two races of the season later this month.

More sports for Vietnam SEA Games?

Vietnam SEA Games organisers have reportedly agreed to add four additional sports to next year’s program.

The sports are believed to be triathlon, bowling, jiu-jitsu and e-sports.

This comes after Vietnam earlier listed just 36 sports for next year’s Games…far fewer than the 56 sports contested in the last edition in the Philippines.
