Klopp plays down Lovren exit rumour

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has played down rumours linking defender Dejan Lovren with a move to Roma. 

The Croatian's future is in doubt, after falling behind Virgil Van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip in the pecking order. 

Meanwhile, Klopp confirmed that Lovren is ill, and will not feature in their Uefa Super Cup clash against Chelsea in Istanbul tomorrow morning.

Former Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is said to be in talks to join US Major League Soccer side, DC United. 

ESPN says he'll be brought in to replace Wayne Rooney, who will be joining Derby as a player-coach in January. 

Sturridge is a free agent, having left the Reds when his contract expired at the end of last season.

Former Honda MotoGP rider Dani Pedrosa says he has NO plans to replace Johan Zarco, who is leaving KTM at the end of the season. 

Pedrosa retired from MotoGP last year, and is currently a test rider at KTM.
