Lampard is back at Chelsea

Jul 04, 2019

It's official.. Frank Lampard is Chelsea's new head coach.

A statement on the Blues' official website confirmed that the former Derby boss signed a 3-year contract.

Lampard replaces Maurizio Sarri, who left Stamford Bridge last month to take charge of Italian champions Juventus.

The former Blues midfielder was one of their most decorated players.. winning 3 EPL titles, 4 FA Cups, 2 League Cups, 1 Champions League and 1 Europa League.

He's also the club's all-time top goalscorer.

Peru are thru to their first Copa America final since 1975, after beating defending champions Chile 3-nil this morning.

They will face hosts Brazil in the final on Monday morning.

Interesting fact.. Brazil have won the Copa America on all four occasions that they've hosted the tournament...while Peru have it won both times they've reached the final in the past.

Ferrari F1 chief Mattia Binotto is disappointed that a proposal to bring back last year's tyre specification was rejected.

He says that F1 missed a great opportunity to allow rivals to catch up with championship leaders Mercedes.

Several teams had proposed dropping this year's thinner-tread tyres in favour of last year's specs.. because Ferrari and other outfits were unable to get them to work.
