Malaysia has a new world champion!

Malaysian para weightlifter Bonnie Bunyau Gustin has won the gold medal in the 65kg weight class at the World Para Powerlifting Championships. 

The 19-year-old not only set a new junior world record, but also beat two former Paralympic champions en route to the gold.

The victory also assures Gustin a place at next year's Tokyo Paralympics.

Paul Pogba isn't going anywhere?

It turns out Paul Pogba could remain at Manchester United after all. 

The French midfielder has made it very clear that he wants to leave Old Trafford this summer, but United have yet to receive any solid offers.

Both Real Madrid and Juventus were reported to be interested in Pogba, but it's believed neither club are prepared to meet the Red Devils' nine-figure valuation of the player.

Simona Halep honoured in Romania after Wimbledon triumph

The Romanian government has awarded its highest distinction to tennis star Simona Halep, to honour her achievement in winning the women's title at Wimbledon over the weekend.

Halep defeated tournament favourite Serena Williams, to become the first-ever Romanian to win a singles title at the All England Club.
