Malaysian Paralympic Games contingent eyeing 'bonus' medals

Sep 13, 2016

The Malaysian Paralympic Games contingent in Rio is eyeing 'bonus' medals after surpassing the target to improve on their outing in London 4 years ago.

Malaysia's chef-de-mission Dr Ang Kean Koo says back then, we won a silver and a bronze, and this time, we've already improved on that with 3 gold, through the sprint, shot put and long jump events.

He says our athletes in archery and powerlifting are also possible medal contenders.
