Man United launch bid to sign Alexis Sanchez

Manchester United have launched a bid to sign Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez, in an attempt to hijack Man City's deal for the Chilean this month.
City have submitted a 20 million pound offer for the forward, who has reportedly agreed personal terms with the club.
The Gunners have yet to respond to the offer, but it is understood the Red Devils have since entered the race with a bid in the region of 25 million pounds.
