Man Utd knock Liverpool out of the FA Cup

Man United are through to the fifth round of the FA Cup after a dramatic 3-2 win over Liverpool at Old Trafford.

Bruno Fernandes came off the bench to net the winner with a second-half free kick.

United will now go on to meet West Ham in the next round.

As for Liverpool, they now have just one win from their last seven matches in all competitions.

In other selected FA Cup fourth round results, Chelsea beat Luton Town 3-1.

Leicester defeated Brentford also 3-1.

While Everton recorded a 3-nil win over Sheffield Wednesday.

Lewandowksi joins exclusive club

Robert Lewandowski netted his 500th career goal to help Bayern Munich to a 4-0 Bundesliga win over Schalke.

The Polish striker now joins Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Zlatan Ibrahimovic as the only active players to reach the scoring milestone.

Vardy expected back soon

Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy is expected to be back in training in 10 days, after undergoing a minor hernia operation.

He had earlier been expected to miss several weeks.

Vardy’s sooner-than-expected return will come as a massive boost for the Foxes, who are currently third in the EPL standings.

Ozil's Arsenal nightmare is over

Mesut Ozil has completed his free transfer from Arsenal to former Turkish champions Fenerbahce.

The German spent seven and a half years with the Gunners, but has not played for the first team since March last year, after falling out with the manager.
