National shuttler hoping BAM will extend coach's contract

Aug 27, 2016

Datuk Lee Chong Wei is hoping BAM will extend the contract of singles coach Hendrawan, whom he says has guided him back to the top ranks in a short period of time.

The 33-year-old adds, retaining Hendrawan, whose contract will expire at the end of the year, would also help the development of rising stars like Iskandar Zulkarnain Zainuddin.

Meanwhile, Chong Wei has quashed rumours that he has a networth of about RM300mil, saying he would've already stopped playing badminton if that were true.
