Ole wants more signings

Sep 20, 2020

Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has called on the club to spend money on new signings, before the summer transfer window slams shut.

So far, Donny van de Beek is the only new player that United have signed.

They continue to be linked with Jadon Sancho, but Borussia Dortmund are said to be asking for 110 million pounds for him.

Solskjaer made the plea, following this morning's 3-1 loss to Crystal Palace.

Meanwhile in other EPL matches:

Everton thumped West Brom 5-2
Leeds pipped Fulham 4-3
And Arsenal defeated West Ham 2-1

Barca blocked from buying

Barcelona have been temporarily blocked from making any new signings.

According to UK reports, Spain's La Liga told the Catalan giants they won't be allowed to buy new players until they trim their massive wage bill, which currently amounts to some 510 million pounds a year.

It's part of measures to ensure that Spanish clubs remain financially viable, due to the economic impact of the COVID-19 outbreak

If confirmed, this means that a possible deal for Liverpool midfielder Gini Wijnaldum will have to be put on hold for now.

13,000 fans expected for Emilia Romagna F1 race

Italy's govt has given the greenlight for 13 thousand fans to attend the Emilia Romagna F1 GP at the end of next month.

The recent Tuscan GP at Mugello was the first race to feature spectators since the start of the COVID-19 outbreak, while the upcoming Russian GP will also have fans present.
