Samir Nasri officially signs with West Ham

Former Man City player Samir Nasri has joined West Ham on an initial deal until the end of the season.

This, following a successful period training with the club since early November.

This, means the Frenchman could make his debut against Brighton on Thursday.

Nasri has now served his 18-month doping ban and has proven his fitness to Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini.

Arsenal boss Unai Emery has been fined 8 thousand pounds for kicking a bottle towards a fan last week.

He was charged over the incident which happened last Thursday during their 1-all draw against Brighton.

Juan Martin del Potro will miss the Australian Tennis Open this month, as he continues his recovery from a fractured kneecap.

The World Number 5 injured his knee at the Shanghai Masters in October.
