Tottenham can finally bid Wembley goodbye

Mar 09, 2019

At long last, Tottenham are set to play their first competitive fixture at their new stadium, in the first week of April.

Either Brighton or Crystal Palace will be their first visitors, depending on the outcome of The Seagulls' FA Cup campaign.

However, Spurs are working with the Premier League, Brighton and Palace, to ensure the first match at the stadium will be an EPL encounter.

Spurs were scheduled to move to the new White Hart Lane Stadium in September last year, but the move was delayed due to construction issues.
