Sergio Perez has claimed the first F1 win of his career, taking the chequered flag at the Sakhir GP.

The Racing Point driver – who finally won on his 190th attempt – came in ahead of Esteban Ocon and Lance Stroll.

Meanwhile, George Russell - who was sitting in for Lewis Hamilton - was denied a fairy-tale finish with Mercedes.

He was leading the race at one point, but ended up in ninth place due to a pit-stop error by the team and a late puncture.
