Werner May Let Go Of Champions League

Jun 16, 2020

RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner is reportedly willing to miss out on the Champions League quarterfinals, in order to secure a move to Chelsea.

According to UK media, the 24-year-old is eager to join up with the Blues the moment the summer transfer window opens.

Supposedly, he wants to reduce the risk of getting a major injury before the big move.

The transfer window is due to open at the end of the EPL season next month, while the Champions League is set to resume in August.
